When you come to my house each week, and inspiration has occurred
Through songs and praise and scriptures, directly from my word.
Then an offering is received in order for my work to thrive
For it is by your tithes and offerings that my servant will survive.
There is a lot more to offering than what is in your purse
For Ananias withheld a part and on him was placed a curse,
The cause of his curse was not holding back a part,
But it was allowing Satan to place evil in his heart.
It's the same with possessions if they are dedicated to me
If they exalt my Son, Jesus, then people are set free.
So, now, if your possessions are placed at my command,
They'll be used a hundred times more than you had planned.
The lost will come to Jesus, the saints will be edified.
My son will be exalted and I will be glorified
But a much more important offering than possessions off the shelf,
Is your talents and your life -- when you dedicate yourself.
If all your gifts and talents are on the altar placed,
They are the strongest decision of all the trials you ever faced.
I'll always be with you, you'll never again be alone,
You'll have blessings as my servant and joy you've never known.
Now I require obedience when you have heard my call,
When you bring your life to me you must give it all
If you do your best for me, always go where you are sent,
You'll always be happy and always be content.
Others will be encouraged to give their lives to me,
Because of the impact in your life that they can see,
They'll know I am real and that i care for them, too,
Because of the life you live, and what I can do through you.
