The Sparrow and You

Have you forgotten that I see every sparrow that falls?
How then, can I fail to hear when your aching heart calls?

I want you to know that no matter what happens, I care,
And even in the darkest night, I hear your silent prayer.

Now, Satan hinders, with pain, sorrow, darkness and fear,
To cause you to have doubt that I am always near.
and though you didn't feel it, I was there just the same,
And was right beside you because you merely breathed my name.

And when Satan would have you confused and beguiled,
Just remember, I purchased you, and you ARE my child.
I promised that I will never leave you nor forsake,
even in the darkness that lonliness can make.

And when the hours drag and you shed unhappy tears,
Remember, every single trial - your Master knows and hears.
So, let your heart be joyful and sing your Savior's praise,
let thanksgiving ring throughout your nights and days.
Glorify your Lord, for He who sees that little bird
lives within and guides you through every thought and word.
