My Child, I heard your plea, I always know your need,
I also know your sorrow, as well as every deed,
And when there's any problem, a solution of any kind,
when you really need an answer, I'll place it in your mind.
Your answer will not come from things that you have heard,
But will come from what you learned while studying my word.
I will send my Holy Spirit to direct your path each day
And bring to your remembrance what He has heard me say,
And if you heed my voice and follow my command,
seeking prayerfully to achieve whatsoever i have planned,
Day by day you'll find my voice will grow more plain,
You'll witness to many others about the heaven they can gain.
But you must pay strict attention to each word you hear me say
So you can be effective in study, work or play,
Stepping forth, rejoicing, each time that you are moved,
Changing course instantly when you have been reproved.
You'll then encourage others to follow in your wake,
Because they know I'm with you every step you take.
I'll fill each day with joy as head on you meet each test,
You make a little move, each time, and I will do the rest.
