If you have seen the lightning flash from east to west,
That's how quickly the Holy Spirit can lift you from a test.
When cares arise and you need an answer from above,
God's word shows you're the object of His love
He sees that little shadow of doubt in your mind
Is one obstruction you will need to bind
The lightning flash is how quickly you can be free
From the doubt that clings so relentlessly.
As sure as the sunrise, so sure God's word is true,
It's also the guarantee God's promise is for you.
Little by little you begin to realize
Like lightning, the Promise, can quickly materialize.
As sure as sunrise and sunset will always be
So sure the promise to set body and spirit free.
Grasp within your Spirit that God loves you so much.
Lightning is just how quickly you can have his touch.
He has given His Word, as sure as moon and sun,
That's how sure the promise, your answer that it's done.
You have no doubt that sundown will be followed by the dawn,
That's how sure the sadness and depression will be gone.
When you have learned this and begun to understand
Then you can follow Jesus as an extension of his hand.
All that's necessary is to believe God's word is true,
Then you can take deliverance to other people too.
