They did not come to pray or to worship in my house,
And the reason they're here is the persistence of a spouse.
There are many other places they would much rather be,
And Church is just a ritual, as far as they can see.
They wait for the last amen and head straight for the door,
Unmindful that right here is what they've been waiting for.
If you are one of those that this verse is all about,
This description is given to eliminate your doubt.
You haven't encountered anything of which I'm not aware,
And there is no place you go that I would not meet you there.
.When you have taken the best advice you can find,
And have not had a degree of success of any kind.
Your burdened mind is worried, there's no way out at all,
And you are so troubled, you don't know who to call.
Look in God's word, which will meet every test,
For Jesus said come, heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Come to me , Jesus says, lay every burden down,
Give me your heart now, trade your troubles for a crown.
Repent of your sin, relinquish all the shame,
You'll enter God's presence if you simply speak my name.
While you're in God's presence bring every sickness and woe,
For if you trust my word, they will all have to go.
In the name of Jesus there is complete victory,
And all the power you'll ever need to set you free.
