Everyone has days filled with great distress,
Depression in what you do and say,
Your waking hours are occupied with worry
Over problems so tough you can't pray.
It could be something like evil threats
Against your children or your spouse.
Or perhaps there is foreboding danger
Of foreclosure on your house.
That won't be easy, of course,
When they're hovering above your head,
And it depends on how much time
You spend on your knees instead
Of worrying over what you cannot solve.
Give Jesus 100% of what's bothering you,
And you have to give him your whole life
To learn what God can do.
He'll give you peace of mind
When He has full control,
A good measure of boundless love
And Joy within your soul.
Everything will come out right,
Your bubble of Worry will burst,
There'll be no more dread and fear
Because you came to Jesus first.
