Dimitri Mihalas is the G.C. McVittie Professor of Astronomy at the University of Illinois. He is the author of numerous research papers in various journals, and of six books on astronomy and physics. He has written poetry for more than 15 years. His work has been published in the INTERMOUNTAIN FRIENDLY REVIEW (produced by the Intermountain Quaker Writers Group), MATRIX 15 and MATRIX 16 (produced by the Red Herring Poets of Champaign-Urbana), and DREAM INTERNATIONAL QUARTERLY
