Hazy Dreams

Hazy dreams as I awaken
to Reality forsaken.
My heart is broken for the
arrows of love have striken.
You lied and cheated;
tricked me again.
The future unknown;
my path is new.
I am leaving you tomorrow.

With much sorrow I leave my home,
to run from the pain inflicted.
With Faith I travel to another home.

I will turn to God with much anticipation.
In His hands my future lies
knowing He will be at my side.
I will praise Him and
pray for a brighter day.
Escaping from your abuse,
to find Peace on earth.
