Lord, put me in my place,
So, I can face each new day,
With dignity and respect,
To be everything You are,
And, all that You would expect.

Lord, put me in my place,
Where I can grow and bloom.
Can You give me my special room,
And, in my presence, bring,
Light, love, peace, and pleasures;
Erasing all the pain and gloom?
Lord, put me in my place,
Where I can give a little more,
Of all the things, You made me for.
All the good things, You gave to me,
With tender, loving care.

Take me to that special place;
A place of understanding,
Without useless demanding.
Let Truth and Love be standing there,
With the gift of sharing,
In the place that You're preparing for me.

Lord, put me in my place,
Where I can stand true and free,
And, be the whole, true, fullfilled me;
To live True Life with loyalty.

Let me find my place here,
To give away Your Love so clear.
Help me to cast away my fear,
And gain Your Merciful Grace.
Lord, with each step I take,
Please, put me in my place.
