Happiness

Where is happiness?
Is happiness found
in a rainbow,
God's promises, the silver,
glistened evening snow,
Or, in the good-bye kisses,
when you must let them go?
Is happiness found in glimpses,
where glitter and sparkle stare,
Or, is it in sturdy loving arms,
when love is standing there?

Happiness and content to be,
Love with want to share,
The shade of a warm tree
to wave the wind to me
Sweet words, singing and
praising Greatest God
in sincerest prayer.
The bite of an apple,
The baby's sweet kiss,
The new day that's
dawning, is happiness.

I can forgive and love again.
In losing I can win.
Could all of my unspoken
love be there;
All the love I feel for you,
as we stand so
broken in this room?
Could all of that
love be in His Tomb,
As Jesus awakens to
sing in Glory share?
Glorious Savior
True happiness there.

Could all these
cumbering burdens bared,
All the strife, fret,
and worry shared,
Could all of this
be left behind;
Wretched men's sins,
crucified?
All wickedness and filthy lies,
That broke the heart
with tears and cries;
Selfish motives,
rebellion, all torment gone?

True happiness
and God Lives on,
To dance and sing
in pure delight.
Living Savior who
turned wrong to right.
Thank You,
Greatest Savior Jesus.
Only You to bless,
For the only Truth and
greatest happiness.
