 The Mirror Cracked

I looked into the mirror, And, saw me standing there. The wrinkles were getting easier in the skin, so fair. I removed the make-up, with the cleansing cream, so deep. I knew I was a warrior, that could not fall asleep. I looked into the mirror. I was wretched and unkind. My heart is many pieces, I knew I'd never find. I was still kind of pretty, In that mirror so Divine. Wretched and finished. The end to happy day, And, I would drink to cry, The happy tears away. I was alone, as the mirror cracked in two. A precious Savior Jesus, came to love a heart untrue. Jesus, be all the Glory, as I stood in broken hue. He really died for me, when the mirror broke in two. As I look into the broken glass, I see all my horrid sin. I just can't believe a Savior could make me live again. Could make me sing, in heart delight. Could die for me to make it right. Jesus took away my darkest night, The day the mirror cracked.
