Jesus is a ray of sunshine
in the darkness.
Giving me hope, when little is found;
A mend to the broken picture.
Guiding me back to the solid ground.
A Voice of Triumph found.
A True Friend, who looks beyond the doubt,
Showing care and concern.
A Friend the Angels sing about,
To inspire, grow, and learn.
He is a Savior who takes care,
And gives you hope in dark despair.
Jesus dries your tears and mends
The broken heart.
He takes away your sins,
And gives you a brand new start.
Jesus is never there to hurt you.
He is a Gentleman of His Word.
Jesus will never depart or desert you.
He'll take away each sin,
If you trust in Him.
Jesus gives you joy and peace,
In place of pain and disease.
Jesus truly is a Savior
From the wicked and the cruel.
He gives the dawn to darkness clear.
What peace, joy, and honor found,
When Jesus comes to rule.
