Three Words |
Three Words lastly said at Calvary, were just the beginning for me.
"It is Finished."
I'm going to the Jubilee.
Three Words said with one last Breath,
Set me free from sin and death.
Oh, Righteous Savior has brought me Light,
To the deepest, darkest night.
Three words said with so much Love,
Caused all my sins to all dissolve.
Three words Spoken at the Cross,
Brought the win to all the loss.
"It is Finished," and I am free.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me.
I was on my way to horrid hell,
And, in my life, deep darkness fell.
Three Words spoken with so much Love,
Erased my road to hell.
Three Words said to overcome the wicked, shameful tale,
of a life forever lost, on the Satan Trail.
My heart was truly broken.
I knew I would never smile again,
In this world of wretched sin,
Until, I heard those three Words spoken.
"It is Finished," and I am free,
To be all God made me to be,
One afternoon, at Calvary.
How the clouds darkened that day,
To show me light in the deepest way.
Though, my darkest sin seems to reign,
I know Jesus took it all away that day.
"It is Finished."
Onward, to my new beginning.
