I miss your angelic dulcet tones

Hours away I stare at night

I see the universe, universally alone

I know you look above you

Seeing only beauty in the air

I know you hear only silence

Yet these stars decry my despair

We see the same night sky

Though many miles apart

I see beauty in this world

In your smile I see His art

Looking into the great unknown
