senseless sensibility
I wish we could all be blind
If only for a day
So we could see the world
In an entirely different way
No colors could separate us
No lines could be drawn
The walls once set before us
Broken down are gone
There would be no excuse
That I could ever see
There would be no hate
We would all be free
I wish we could all be deaf
If only for a day
So we could hear the tone
In our hearts that overlays
We then would be able to see
What inherently is wrong
Voices chide us, as derision guides us
In harmony its their hateful song
No one could tell us
What is wrong or right
It would be left up to us
We would find the light
I wish we could all be mute
If only for a day
So we could tell the world
What they should, or should not say
They speak as loudly as they can
Lest they all be heard
Though they all contribute
Hate utters not a word
Its senseless sensibility
We need to find the truth
We need to free the world
Lest the cancer infect our youth
