A woman sits on a porch
Tears drain from her eyes
She got the call to day that both of her sons have died
One went off to fight a war he knew nothing about
The other went off to fight a war in the streets for a little bit of clought
Both fought these wars because they were tired of doing without
Without lights food or gas
They were tired of doing without
So now there mother sits there all alone
Delusional she believe her sons will come back home
But they have come back home
Back to gods home
Every now and then they check on her
They tell her things will be alright
But their mother still cries herself to sleep night after night
Until one night god put out her precious light
Now that woman sees her sons at heaven warm light
She hears them say welcome to heaven momma everything will be alright
