i have learned so much this week!
there’s much i need to tell thee
	
i’ve learned of Lochness monsters 
that gently skim the surface
	
i’ve learned that “Loke” is Lo’ kee*
of naughty, nets and Norsemen
	
i’ve learned that Puerto Ricans
say you’re “loco” when you’re cool
	
i’ve learned that being “low key”
ranks you sixth in any slam
	
quarried lakes and solitude
i’d be my lover’s lackey
in this fair sheltered locus
the look of her fair likeness
locks on chiseled cheek that speak
more beauty than the body!
	
i’ve learned that once my mind was clear
as this did Thomas Locke propose
experience does hold the key
to what i might or might not be 
	
i’ve learned that my dear mommy
might know why i always lack
and of my chest and treasure 
why it still be bound and locked
	
of luck and Liszt and loka**
of lack and Locke and Loke
of likes and licks and lackeys
of lakes and loco lusting
of locks and looks and lochs
