to comfort thee my love (1/16-17/99) fair love thou tear and burn within my chest and fist has beaten there to no avail but with thy sight and sound i rest my tears then carve a wet and heavy trail i need to hold your head against my breast i sense your stature dear shown strong yet frail will ebb and flow inside my arms and crest and thus entwined we’ll fare my love not fail in hope that we could be and stand the test in faith as strong as drunken men do rail! in love as two who would their all invest (this call though small within a crowd does pale) though we may never touch, my all our love so free will ever soar it’s endless source n’er cease to pour my aim: to comfort thee my love
