And make me feel as if ‘t were i that failed And pay me sorrow for my selfless deeds And then remind me that the size be wrong And miss the splendor of my greatest song And make me give, and give thee not return And see not that our friendship be impaled And amity can suffer nearly ev’ry test As robins on their light blue eggs much time invest As harmony for two does take to wing and fly In hope that one small chick from nest not fall and die And love did make me say your breath did smell Though harsh at first its goal to make you well This love of such an overwhelming sort Could only great great folly e’er abort As tender seed that grew amongst large weeds As valiant soldier for his land now bleeds And that this all we had, had but one tiny chance Did not this all begin from but the smallest glance And though for thee dear friend did i not burn and burn And now amongst my kin am i not mocked and railed But you did say: “you would the stronger be!” And died i have in this deep part of me And love so grand to bring a kingdom down It seems that it does now commence with h And furthermore does rhyme with this word: Wait! And bears in ridicule a scowl and frown And when i gave my cheek to you, you slapped my face I gave the other to you then to my disgrace And salvage this why bother, love, if it be naught Reward the master, dear, and show what you’ve been taught! So use this strength: “You-Would-The-Stronger-Be!” For now the ball dear friend be in your court!
