Poem in dialogue with itself

Is this the first line?
I don't know is this the first line?

Or is the first line the first line and
that last line the second line of the poem?

Or is it the first line of another voice
and therefore this is the third line
spoken by that voice?

Or are all of these lines of the same poem?

Or are all of these lines spoken by several
individuals at the exact same time?

Or am I simply speaking to myself?

And is this the last line?

Was that the last line?
Or is this the last line?

The poem's head and heart begin to spin.
However the poem has faith in something
larger than itself and so it slides to the
cupboard, removes a large sledgehammer
and begins to smash itself into tiny pieces.
