I've listened to this song many times, and I'd like to
give you my thoughts on it<3
To me, it says go for the brass ring, dont settle for
second best, dont wait for something to fall
into your lap.
Nothing in life is handed to you, and if you wait
for it, you might wait forever.
Is there a chance you didnt take? Is there
something you think is unreachable?
Have you sat back and waited.....thinking you
had no shot at something you wanted so bad?
I guess this is part of what this song says to me....
Would you rather sit back, or go after something?
Dance, or sit this one out? Sitting it our may mean
an opportunity you'll never have again.
While others danced, had fun, you were
afraid to take a chance.
One dream I had was to write.....one chance
I never took until late in life.
After 49 years, I decided I sat out too
many dances......I got tired
of waiting for something to drop in my lap.
So I got up.....I asked for help, I took
a chance....and I still thank God for guiding
me to the right person<3
I asked her to dance.....:)
