reassuring touch when the day is bad,
When I
walk through the door after a long, hard day,
You're
there with a kiss, and a kind word to say,
All
through the years you've never complained,
When I
wasn't so perfect, my personality stained,
You stood
by my side when all wasn't well,
When I
needed a hug, you always could tell,
Sometimes
I think of the things I forgot,
I took
things for granted more often than not,
There are
certainly times that I cannot take back,
For
sticking by me, through all of this Dear,
Two hearts
in a lifetime, could not be so near,
