The Cure
What is left I asked myself, I wasn't really sure,
I'd hoped that after all this time I would've found the cure.
To all the hollow spaces that live inside of me,
Once I lived in innocence and my soul was free.
I really don't know what to think about this life I live,
I open up my heart to all and freely with it give.
I walk blindfolded in my life not knowing what's ahead.
I hope for things that won't break hearts and bring great joy instead.
Prayer is all that comforts me, and gives courage for me to stand,
My legs may shake , my soul may quake ,but Jesus holds my hand.
