Tomorrow's Prize
Growing,glowing in a tiny room,
Stretching, expanding in your mother's womb.
Nutured by your mother's very being.
Floating in warm darkness,nobody seeing.
A tiny entity, a spectral image,
Gently forming into a human visage.
Infitismal fingers, tiny toes,
A minute creation, mouth, eyes and nose.
Legs stretching forth, arms open wide.
Completely protected from the world outside.
Changing dramatically from one day to the other,
Our tomorrow's little sister or brother.
A miracle unfolding before our very eyes,
A heaven sent blessing, Earth's greatest prize.
