Jeanne-Lee Marrin is my character based upon the Star Trek universe. (Yes, she does boldly go where no human has ever gone before! ;) I have been playing her for three Pbem's and kept Jeanne-Lee as my character throughout. I like games that focus more on character development and writing skills than mindless action. (One of the two closed down, and for the other two, USS Avenger and USS Dark Matter I didn't have enough time to participate in at the time being.) She has developed a good deal since the beginning, though. I like her, she is a sweet girl, but learning how to stand up for herself. (Lately, this has been through arguments with the ship's emergency medical hologram, but anyway...)

History :
Jeanne-Lee was born on Earth, in France, and quickly developed a highly imaginative and romantic set of mind. Her childhood, spent with her parents and younger sister, was a happy one. Soon she discovered the joy of knowledge and reading - combined with the family interests of sailing and horse riding this transformed into a longing of worlds beyond.
Service Record :
Applying to Starfleet Academy her grades were more than sufficient, but her superiors were concerned over her scatter-brained, dreamy behaviour. They did not trust that she would be fit for the pressure that a medical officer would be exposed to in the service. Giving her one last chance to prove herself, Jeanne-Lee Marrin was assigned to the USS Avenger under the supervision of a competent medical crew. Her behaviour in a situation of crisis and also during six months of everyday tasks was acknowledged by the senior staff of the Avenger and their report led her back to Starfleet Academy to complete her final year as a full-fledged medical officer. She has also been serving onboard the USS Dark Matter.
Personality :
Her personality is generally sunny, but maybe on the sensitive side. She is honest, and straight-forward, sometimes not a good quality. Her scatter-brained personality has eased with experience, but she still has something eccentric about her ways. Most people tend to have a definite opinion of her : either very positive or very negative. In her work, she is striving towards perfection - and actually doing quite well on the whole.
Interests :
Her professional interests are mainly xenobiology and also a curious hobby in historical medicine. Herb lore of old earth, etc. In general, poetry and writing are a passion of hers, as well as gardening, dancing and fencing. She has many interests, but seem to jump at one at a time and then quickly loose patience with most of them. Strangely enough for someone with such a flighty imagination she seems to enjoy the company of Vulcans. (to what extent this feeling is reciprocated is varying) Her most prized possession is a large potted plant going by the name of Shakespeare.
