"Come on, Come on!" The little blue unicorn nudges you eagerly. "I have something I want to show you..." You follow the baby unicorn through the meadow and across a wooden bridge. The breeze stirring the gently flowing stream explains the name Winnowing Wind for this place.

"Where is your mother?" you ask, remembering that she was supposed to be Linda's old best pony friend. "Oh, she's working." The baby unicorn replies. "She's helping the humes putting up some signs." "Why is that?" you ask curiously. "Well, of course, Silly." Baby Starflower giggles. "If we are going to have more humes walking about, so you don't get lost and in trouble." Realizing that this young lady thinks you are more or less helpless is less than pleasant, but you don't say anything about that. She might be right, after all.

"There!" She points a hoof at the far end of the clearing you just entered. A couple of colourful baby ponies are playing around in the grass, watched over and sometimes joined by the adults. "Look!" The unicorn shouts. "Look who I brought!" And everyone gathers curiously around you...

The first one up is a young clyesdale, he stops some distance away - shy and yet interested. "Hello!" You venture. "Hi." He replies. "My name is 4-Speed, who are you?" You reply with your name, when he comments. "I haven't been here for long, you are the first strange human that I have seen." "Oh, but where do you come from?" you ask. "I come from Worlds Apart, but now I live here. Maybe I'll see you around."

Next, you feel someone nudge your leg. As you look down, you meet a pair of the most adorable, pleading eyes you've ever seen. You reach down and carefully pat her mane, it feels like blue silk against your hand.

"That is Baby Moonjumper" another voice says, "She's from Misty Mountain Nursery." A tall, graceful unicorn mare approaches you, even in the clear midday sun she seems to be surrounded by a halo of glittering starlight. "My name is Moondancer, and my homeland is Fiery Autumn Forest. Welcome to Winnowing Wind!"
