As you enter the vast chamber of the Royal Library in Minas Tirith, Gondor, you are struck first by its immense size and second by the almost overwhelming smell of paper.

A short man, grey just touching his long brown hair, stands from behind a desk as you enter.

Greetings, m’lord.  My Lord Elessar informed me that you would be coming.  Please, take as much time as you wish.

The man smiles.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.  I nearly grew up in this building; I know it well.  I must ask only that you do not take anything with you.  But there are many comfortable chairs for you to use while perusing the scrolls.
