Missed Opportunity

Well a clear window of opportunity
shut without a sound. When
one door opens, another door opens too.
We are trained to think that the doors,
the opportunities open and close
in a complex of potentials

But rather know that each place
you look, there is an open door of
opportunities solving the mystery is
our call - do we see what the opportunity
is? Perhap as small as a friendly
smile. The door opens another's
for a moment of shared friendliness.

Or can we slame the door shut with
our own displeasures? a moment
of distraction, a contemletion of
an imagined unpleasant future events
that makes us miss the opportunity
right in front of us.
