A Rainbow

A Rainbow! The sun is setting
hours ago and the rainbow grows
& grows - The energy of the single
thought - caught in a drop of water
not even a drop of rain of pain,
but the natural flow and ebb of all water
sweat - the ocean, a brook, or a stream
the moisture is a cohesive of life
this drop that is life itself.

A rainbow shining in the moonlight
Not a radiant glory of the fullmoom
but the soft quarter moon
with a radiant rainbow.
Rainbow in that drop of moisture a tear

Where could a rainbow not shine?
Perhaps, water is the essence
the soul of all life.
Where could a rainbow not shine?
Ideas keep the rainbows out
of our visions and out of our minds.
Let the vision shine, let the mind create rainbow after rainbow the beat of the heart a smile on a face.
