Most of our time was spent lazing away the HOT summer daze on one of Pag's beautiful beaches. This one, called Zrce, was our most frequent haunt.
Just a few feet away from our beach towels at Zrce was this wonderful cafe-in-a-pool. This is where we re-hydrated on a regular basis, enjoying the entirely decadent tropical feel.
Chillin' like villains in the cafe-pool.
Eventually the sun would begin to set and we'd haul our sun-drained selves back to our elegant winery-turned-hotel, Bos Ki Nac, to shower and pamper ourselves with some AC.
Our hotel looked out over the "valley" nestled in the middle of the island. It always looked so romantic at this pre-twilight hour of the day.
This was our room. It was BY FAR the nicest place on the island.
After a few days we got tired of the crowded beaches and took a drive to hunt out something more remote and private. This is where we stopped.
Enjoying the calm at our "private beach" (which wasn't quite as private as these pictures indicate - other people WERE there, but only about ten of them.)
Each evening we'd head to the island's one city, Novalja, to get some food and enjoy the broadwalk-esque nightlife. The sunset brought cool, dry air over the harbor and we'd walk up and down just admiring the boats and the pink light on the water.
We spent most of our last day in the shade, obviously all-beached out. I think we both learned a new definition of the word "relax."
