She walked alone in darkness
And lost through the mist,
She found herself a star
That guided her to the light in her last moment.
Among moans and laments
Saw her youth go by in pain,
Her desperation drove her to delusion and insanity.
She never stopped to appreciate the beauty of life,
To contemplate either a sunrise or a sunset,
To love someone,
To cherish a child’s smile,
Instead she killed the spirit of the child that lived inside her
She has taken a long journey to eternity,
And has left behind memories of her Emptiness.
I wonder: "Will I ever see her soul again?"
If I do, I will hug her and say:
"I have been waiting all my life for this moment to arrive."
