We travel along the lonely road,
and feel there is no-one.
But, God can see your emptiness
and He can hear your prayers.
You pray and pray,
and give up hope that
someone will come along.
We never know what miracle
he'll do within our
life's adventure.


Then when we have
our eyes on Him
and forget our emptiness,
and concentrating on Him
is when we're truly blessed.


No matter how
young or old you are
there's love within His plan.
He is the God of love
and sees your loneliness.
There are so many others
suffering just as you.
And He can search
around the world
and send a mate to you,


Just when you are so busy
with all the other things;
just when you least expect it,
here comes the one He brings.


You weren't really expecting
that your prayers
would now un-fold.
He has finally sent to you
someone that you can hold.


Why did you doubt
His love for you?
He had you in His hands.
He was only waiting for you,
to fulfill His plans.


So when you're down and lonely,
turn your face toward Him.
Remember that He loves you
and remember to love Him.


For now you have the answer
to your special prayer.
God has never forgotten
what you had asked him for.


Now you have a loved one
to take you by the hand,
to walk the paths of
righteousness to the
~~ Promised Land~~
