Yearning for your love
in an empty space
within the darkest hours
of my despair but,
you're not there.
The tears of grief fall down,
and when they disappear,
my heart still bleeds.
Yearning for the days
we were together,
wondering how you could forget
all the love I gave,
and all the days
and nights we shared.
I grasp for your love;
even in my sleep,
I grieve for it.
Yearning for your love to
embrace me again.
but you have disappeared.
Wondering if this pain,
my broken heart
will ever, ever heal.
Yearning for your love
deep inside of me,
even-though, you are in love
with someone new.
I know you will not return, but,
I still yearn for your love.
