There To Die

• If I were shot would u come to my aide
• Laying down on the pavement bleeding
• As I look down at the wound I could see my life before my eyes
• Everything I did was there clear as day
• My birth
• My first kiss
• My first love
• As I hear the sirens in the background I come to
• Im lying in the middle of my own blood
• It hurts so bad
• Im yelling for help
• But no one pays attention
• Walking past me like a dead animal
• I reach out to a guy’s leg
• All he does is shove me away
• As I see the police pull up
• I see the guy that shot me
• The next thing I knew I was in the hospital
• I was saved my life was saved
• It was strangers that did it
• And I am grateful
• All I say is Thank You
