God sent me an earthly Angel
Sweetheart,when he sent me you.
For you have given me a love
most men have never knew.

Said we were just two young people
Who thought we where in Love.
But it Blossomed into something else
and blessed by God from up above.

Eyes, sparkle like an evening Star
Hair White,soft as the best of silk.
And Baby when you smile at me
you still make my Heart melt.

We've had many good years together
life not easy as it used to be.
But one thing I am sure of Dear
I love you, and you love me.

As we sit at the Breakfast table
smiling like two newlyweds in love.
Your eyes still have that twinkle
like the day we fell in Love.

And I look into your lovely face
and watch two deep dimples form.
A beautiful smile, then comes on
and makes my heart so warm.

As I reach across the table Dear
And feel the warmth in your hand.
My heart still flutters in my chest
like when I was a younger man.

We sit and drink our morning coffee
feeling the warm Sun from above.
And watching out the window at
the bird feeder full of Doves.

Since I have gotten a little older
maybe I have lost most of my Charm
Yet you still keep me around nights
if its just to keep you warm.
