Song of the Mockingbird
How precious is your
perfect song,
Which comes from your heart with love
What a melody God gave to thee
When he touched you from above
With angelic sound which weaves it's way into a troubled soul
Filling it with gentle grace and tender loving hope
Long after you have taken flight your Heavenly song remains
The memory placed within a heart takes from it all the pain
Bring again your sweet song
For a spirit it can soothe
Your timely song a gift from God
A blessing so faithful and true

The moment a little boy is concerned with
which is a jay and which is a sparrow, he
can no longer see the birds or hear them sing.
