I reveal my heart with the written word
across this grand land
To spread love, peace and harmony
Just because I can
Deep within my heart the search is done
on many a subject I take a firm stand.
I write of loves gained and lost
Just because I can
With the words that are difficult to conjure
I pray will be indelible upon the sand
and touch upon another's heart
Just because I can.
To bring hope and peace within all hearts
May God guide this pen.
And grant love of one another
