BELOW IS A POEM
THAT I WROTE FOR A WONDERFUL WIDOW
THAT LIVED
NEXT DOOR
AND WE OFTEN
SAT TOGETHER AND TALKED OVER OLD TIMES.
SHE DIED OF CANCER
AND HER SON READ
THIS POEM AT HER FUNERAL.
IT IS AS IF
SHE SENT IT FROM HEAVEN.

From Maida with
Love...
Oh the sweetness of the passing,
Oh the joy that I now behold,
Oh the blessed peace of dyeing,
Now God has my hand to hold.
Thank You Lord for no more
suffering,
Thank You Lord for taking me Home,
Thank You Lord for Your great blessings,
Help them Lord that I have left alone.
As I crossed the Great Divide,
An Angel took me by the hand,
An, lead me up the stairway to Heaven,
Now here before our Creator, I stand.
Tis' now, Oh such a
blessing,
To be Home in Heaven at last,
I'll be waiting for you, my loved ones,
When your time on earth has passed.
