Ideas but no wayTo express them,

beliefs but no way to free them from my soul.

I had secrets but no one to tell them to,

dreams but no reality,

Foresight but no destiny.

I had an education

but nothing to teach,

answers but no questions,

Religion but few convictions.

I had a destination

but no road to follow,

sight but no vision,

a plan but no guide.

I had a dream

but nothing to spire to,

potential but no determination,

Strength but little courage.
