What is a
twin sister
I wrote this poem because I am a twin. No one but a twin can tell you how true this poem is. The background I chose, because it is a symbol of our heritage and we are proud to be latin.
What is a twin sister?
She's your best friend,
your guardian angel, your confidant. She's the one who feels your pain when all others turn away. She's the one who listens to you, without judging or criticizing. She's the one you share your secrets with, and feel confident she would never tell. She's the one you entrust your life to, and you'd the same to her do. She's the one who holds a special place in your heart, no matter what time goes by. She's that part of your soul, which you could not live without. She may look like you, but she is not you. She is simply a reflection of yourself, reflections that are identical, yet so very different. She is your twin sister, your other half, your missing link, with a special bond between you. Mary V. 6-98"You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that." Charlotte, "Charlotte's Web" (by E. B. White)
Here are pictures of my twin sister and I, come on in and take a peek.
