~ Where Are You ~

by: O'Puppy

Every night I pick a star
asking where oh where you are
Somewhere far away from me
some place I wish I could be

Mister star, I always say
send a sparkling beam her way
Make her feel my heart tonight
let her know this love is right

Then on knees to God I pray
bring her back another day
Lord, this angel is my life
Oh, if she could be my wife.

Even though we've never met
if we do I'll place my bet
I'm for her and she's for me
from then until eternity

With a smile I say amen
until night comes round again
When the stars come into view
and I ask one...where are you?

They Sing For Love

by: O' Puppy

Sitting in my house one day
Kind of lonely in a way
Thought I'd take a walk outside
Maybe even take a ride

I don't know, just something new
There was nothing else to do
Grabbed my coat, put on my shoes
Anything to rid the blues

Stepped around behind the house
All was quiet as a mouse
Then I heard a songbird sing
What a pretty sounding ring

As I searched from tree to tree
It kept singing constantly
Sun reflecting deep blue sky
Sounds so sweet, they made me cry

I'm convinced that everywhere
God has much for us to share
Songbirds sent from up above
Blessed by grace, they sing for love
