Soul Mate

Glancing into your eyes,

I knew the meaning of Soul Mate,

I didn't feel the earth shake,

Or any of that stuff that songs sang about,

But I felt your heart reach out to mine,

Just a split second, just a simple touch,

I knew the true meaning of Soul Mate,

One kiss, one hug, refuge from a world of pain,

One talk, one Spirit even though apart we are two,

This is a knowing,

Soul Mates, a love that lasts through eternity, and infinity
