A trucker's guardian Angel

(To Andy, and other truckers too) While you are rolling down that lonesome highway,
Please be conscious of those at home,
Who think of you each passing moment, and each long day,
The sweep of an eagle crossing the sky,
Above your rolling rig,
Is just symbolic in the fact, your guardian angel goes your way.
Sometimes the cloud roll slowly across a sunset sky,
Just remember there are those who think of you as you pass them by.
A prayer to keep you safe from harm, is whispered in the hearts,
You'll never know who speaks of them,, whose heart watehes over you,
Just watch the sky now and then and see that lonesome eagle fly,
Majestically across the wide open sky,
That guardian angel is watching you and keeping you safe from harm,
She watches you and caws her lonesome cry with blessings ringing on the sly,
As the big rig that you drive comes roaring underneath tha big blue open sky,
A prayer is spread within the hearts of those who think of you.
Hurry home, be safe, for there are those who think of you,
For a trucker's work takes him far from home....it makes him roam,
Be watching always watching, for that lonesome eagle in the sky,
A trucker's guardian angel guiding him safely home.
