Poetry Joy, Peace and Love
Angel Wings,
The gift that was given,
Remember this: Remember this,
Donna Layne Roberts Christmas 2002
And Christmas Trees,
Winter is in the air,
Children's laughter,
Fireside chatter,
Its the season that matters
In love and hope driven,
Make this a special time,
A star light sparkle lit up the sky
And wise men traveled from afar,
Doesn't seem right that men today,
Do not understand,
The hope and joy of love everlasting,
In war they want to fight,
The peace of the gift, and the joy of the might,
Will not light up the sky,
For hope ever lasting, in the greatest gift of all
In forgotten by some,
Remembered by some,
The hope and fear of all the years,
Comes tumbling down to this,
The understanding of the men,
What victory do they wish?
For the greatest gift of all is not of war and men,
But of love, joy, and peace between all of humankind.
For unto them a small child was born,
To give the joy and love and peace,
