Natures breast
Last night
full moon I did follow
Led by pale blue glow
through the mountain grow
Light cast
upon a path
thy very being
had to follow
Twist and turn
to and fro’
As midnight struck
night's eye did look
cast its eerie glow
‘cross the underbrush
so lush
Water ahead, the sound of which
was keen
A creek cut the very flesh of earth
as I neared it could be seen
I set to rest
and watch in awe
the night I did ponder
Thy mind did start to wander
Shifting shadows changing
‘fore my very eyes
the forest did alive
Dancing trees
in the breeze
and shifting light of the moon
A heartbeat did seem
the sound of which the creek
was making
Breeze through the trees as a
sigh escaping
‘twas as if
my head rest
upon the breast
of the very Mother
Nature
Then I thought of
You
