Thousand changes

Once, a Knight was I
And she a princess
Peoples plight, high
Together we did change this

Before the Samurai
Trained killer stood I
The masters prodigal student
She, his daughter prudent
Her love of arts
Did set our part
To change the warrior spirit

When Pharaohs slaves
Met early graves
They looked to me
To help them flee
Her, the kings queen
Our passion did seem
To push her compassion
Softened Pharaohs lashin’
And so still stands
Our part in a great land

When dragons soared
And Merlin walked
My rage did roar
But still she talked
A bridge ‘tween brute and wisdom
Perished beast
Fears released
In part at least
From the balance
His wisdom through her
To my lance

A thousand times
Passion ‘tween us
Did change the times
Places ‘round us
One time, one day
Doth hope to say
It used for our own benefit
Perhaps ‘twill be
She helps me see
To stop the wars
‘tween Venus and Mars
