DEAR MOTHER

DEAR MOTHER,
YOU COME IN LATE AT NIGHT FULL OF TEARS
AND MY HEART USED TO BREAK AT THE SIGHT.
NOW YOU COME IN FULL OF TEARS AND I DON'T CARE.
ALL THOSE TIMES I NEEDED YOU.
ALL MY CRIES YOU DID'NT HEAR.
I FALL TO PIECES AT THE SIGHT OF YOU WITH HIM.
TO THINK OF HIM MY HEART FILLS WITH MOLTEN ROCK.
I LOOK FOR MY FURTURE AND PRY IT'S NOT YOU.
I DIE AT THE THOUGHT OF BECOMEING YOU.
ALL THE YEARS I WALKED THOUGH A CHILDS' EYES AT THE FIGHT.
DAD'S HANDS WERE STRONG, BUT HE NEVER MADE YOU FEEL SO WEAK.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW YOUR CHILD WANTS YOU IN JAIL?
HOW DOSE IT FEEL TO KNOW YOUR SON WOULD RATHER NOT SEE YOU?
YOU FILL MY HEART WITH SADNESS TO LOOK AT YOU.
I DON'T WANT TO BE YOU.
MY LIFE WILL BE BETTER BECAUSE YOU SHOWED ME PAIN.
I SWEAR NOW TO MY UNBORN CHILDREN, I WILL NEVER BE YOU.
