Prelude To My Poetry

Maybe I'm not
a great poet,
and maybe
that's not true.
But, one thing I
can say for sure,
my words here
are true.
When reading
you will peek
into a looking
- glass of me.
Of what is honesty
of what I think
and what I feel.
Hoping
my readers
can relate to all
my hopes and dreams,
and maybe
feel the same.
Sometimes
there's tears
within my eyes
when I take a pen,
as I open my heart
for all to see,
to let the
whole world in.
Some people hide
their feelings,
some others even lie.
But, when you
read my poetry
I hope you'll see inside
my heart so nude and bare.
Evil is within the heart;
I hope you see none there.
If I can stir emotions,
please just let me know.
Feel free to sign
my guest-book,
please tell me,
friend or foe.
Remember,the eyes
are the windows
to your soul,
and never give
up Hope!
You can count on me.
You have a
friend indeed.
There are ways
you can find me,
If you'd only try.
Loneliness
is the devil's tool,
who needs it anyhow.
