Juliet To Own The Sky
Phoenix Lee Wright 2001
For her love grew upon
Those three words in
Which she drank, my Juliet
To own the sky, she shall
Only sip another word to
Rest heaven on her lap for
When I leaned against her
Spirits brow through the
Heart in which she breathes,
How sweet her blood has
Tasted for heaven was not
Enough
How soft this creature trembled
In my
arms like a nervous star, to
Place my tears upon her
Freezing lips how deadly sweet
Her frost, warmth I gave her,
Where every rainbow played a
Cathedral hymn, suns prayed
Upon there knees and brooks
Took daily drink of life.
