Oh! Little dewdrop.
How strong you are.
Clutching for life
To a small leaf.
How far you have traveled
From the heavens
To the earth
Only to end up on this leaf.
Only to remain here in hopes
Of a poet or writer of
Fine sonnets
To relay your message.
Take heed, little dewdrop.
You are much stronger than I.
You have traveled many miles,
And endured the test of time.
You shall remain immortal
To all who are witness
To your fragile beauty.
